From the very first call, Ms Lauren listened attentively. The level of compassion, understanding and genuine desire to help was commendable, unexpected (especially in-today’s fast paced consuming world) and very much appreciated. My wife and I were very overwhelmed and frustrated with how we have been unheard and brushed off by the school staff. She made sure the school was giving an appropriate amount of attention to each of the elements of our child’s IEP and not just giving it lip service. She pushed the IEP team to follow through and to implement needed interventions appropriate for our child’s needs.
