We cannot speak highly enough of our experience working with Lauren as our daughter’s advocate. From the very beginning, Lauren demonstrated unwavering commitment to prioritizing our daughter’s medical needs while advocating for her inclusion and all aspects of school life. Lauren’s approach during meetings with the school was a perfect blend of respect and firmness. She artfully navigated the discussions, ensuring that our daughters requirements were not only met, but exceeded. Lauren’s dedication to achieving our goals of inclusivity was truly uncompromising. What sets Lauren apart is her genuine concern for our daughter’s well-being. She took time to get to know our family and, most importantly, our daughter’s situation. This allowed Lauren to tailor her advocacy to our daughter’s unique needs, fostering an environment where our daughter felt more valued and included. Communication with Lauren was seamless. She consistently made herself available, promptly addressing our concerns and providing updates on the progress. Lauren’s commitment extended beyond formal meetings; she regularly checked in to see how things were going, ensuring that the support remain consistent and effective. Lauren is an exceptional advocate who goes above and beyond to ensure that children with disabilities not only receive the care they need, but also experience the inclusivity they deserve. We are incredibly grateful for her dedication, expertise, and the positive impact she has had on our daughter’s educational journey.

From the very first call, Ms Lauren listened attentively. The level of compassion, understanding and genuine desire to help was commendable, unexpected (especially in-today’s fast paced consuming world) and very much appreciated. My wife and I were very overwhelmed and frustrated with how we have been unheard and brushed off by the school staff. As soon as Ms Lauren came on board the wheels turned instantly; Correspondences with the school were immediately answered, concerns were addressed. Ms Lauren’s level of compassion for what she does is unheard of and I quote her words: “ Advocating for children and fighting for everything they deserve to excel and thrive, is not a job for me, but it has been my calling” Not only she delivered what she promised: clear communication, honesty and integrity and of course being the child and the parents voice, but she went above and beyond to meet with our child, thoroughly get her feed back on the additional services, connect with her and consistently being present to clarify, educate, and put us the parents and our child at ease. Ms Lauren is very knowledgeable, resourceful, sharp and will fight for your child. All the above qualities she has makes her excellent at what she does. However, the one thing above all, that put us to tears out of gratitude is how unbelievably kind and humble she is. She truly got our back. Having her as an advocate, allowed us to focus on being parents and let her be the lioness that she is to fight for your child.

Before talking to Lauren, I was feeling so hopeless about getting my daughter the help she needed. Her IEP was horribly written, and she was not receiving what she needed to progress. After my initial call with Lauren I knew that she was going to get the job done. And I’m so glad I went with my gut and chose her as our advocate. Her experience in the education system was a true asset. She has a true passion for advocacy. I cannot imagine how emotionally charged this experience would have been without her. Knowing she was there on my side, helping Allison’s get all the tools she needed in her toolbox was a true blessing. I am so thankful to have found her and to have had her on our team to fight for our daughters needs. We have seen so much improvement already! She is truly great at her job. She was wonderful to communicate with, and always listened to our concerns. Nobody should have to fight this system alone to get what their child needs and I forever thankful for all her help. Truly one of a kind. Lauren is the best!

Lauren is compassionate, knowledgeable and fierce. She made sure the school was giving an appropriate amount of attention to each of the elements of our child’s IEP and not just giving it lip service. She pushed the IEP team to follow through and to implement needed interventions appropriate for our child’s needs. When the ESE specialist and teachers seemed to be slacking on allowing the required interventions, Lauren reached out and made suggestions. She pushed the school for an extra meeting where we implemented more appropriate accommodations. With Lauren by our side, we felt confident that our child’s needs would be met.

Lauren has been an excellent advocate since our first phone call. She has extensive knowledge of special education programs, 504 plans, and IEPs. She listens to the parent and child to determine the best plan of action. She answers any and all questions you have, and always gets back to you in a timely manner. Our rights at the school were not being met, and with Lauren as our advocate, we were successful in establishing the accommodations my daughter needed. I highly recommend her!

Lauren is a pleasure to work with. She is very organized and knowledgeable of the law. She is pleasant but firm and determined. Lauren helped us develop the right IEP that worked for our child, exploring all available options, and pushing through meetings resulting in successful outcomes. I don’t know where we would be without Lauren. Thank you.

Lauren is extremely knowledgeable, not only in the area of compliance, but she brings a wealth of curriculum knowledge as well. She is collaborative and works well with teams. I would recommend her to families because she advocates for the student first and foremost. She is able to assist her families in understanding processes and academic needs for their children. I consider her an asset to any IEP/504 team.
